Training Programmes
Training Programme on 'Selection of Consultants and Client-Consultant Agreement' in Malaysia
Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) conducted one day training programme on
‘Selection of Consultants and Client-Consultant Agreement’
for
22 participants
representing Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and other government departments and consultants of Malaysia. The training programme was organised by Professional Services Development Corporation SDN BHD, Malaysia, a TCDPAP member organisation.
The programme was
delivered
by
Dr. Sunil Abrol
, Director General, CDC and Secretary General, TCDPAP. The
welcome address
was delivered by
Ir. Asri Bin Abdul
Hamid, President, PSDC. The key note address was delivered by Ir. Prof. Dr. Gue See Sew, who spoke on ‘
A Sustainable Model of Engineering Consulting Firms’
where he focussed on need for one stop consulting services with consulting organisations having 500-700 professionals across disciplines and services providing total solutions to the clients.
The
three technical session
were delivered by Dr. Sunil Abrol covering issues relating to pre-qualification process, shortlisting of consultants, issue of EOI and RFP and evaluation of proposals based on quality and cost including terms & conditions of contract. The programme was quite very well received with participants seeking clarifications and asking questions during the course of delivery of programme.
